Product Description

5-HTP (5-hydroxytryptophan) is a pure natural herbal formula derived from the seeds of Grifonia simplicifolia, a West African medicinal plant.

It has a sedative effect and is the precursor of 5-HT. Under the action of decarboxylase, it generates 5-HT, which can enhance the activity of 5-hydroxytryptophan in the human body, increase the production of serotonin in brain cells, and thereby increase the content of 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HT). It can improve sleep and help suppress appetite. It can reduce the body's intake of carbohydrates and lower stress hormones, thereby suppressing appetite.

Function of 5-HTP:

1. Anti depression: 5-HTP is a metabolite of the amino acid tryptophan, a precursor of human serotonin, used to synthesize the required serotonin (an important substance that plays a role in normal neural and brain function). It is helpful for normal neural substances and brain function, and can treat depression.

2. 5-HTP can alleviate stress and improve sleep: it can help the body balance this hormone, control emotions, improve sleep quality, and effectively suppress pain. Therefore, 5-hydroxytryptophan is also used to treat insomnia.
