Arbutin and ursolic acid are the main active components of Uva Ursi leaf extract, which is extracted from the dried leaves of Uva Ursi in rhododendron family. Arbutin has antibacterial, antitussive, diuretic and other pharmacological activities, It is also an inhibitor of tyrosinase in human melanocytes, arbutin can effectively inhibit the activity of biological tyrosinase in the skin, block the formation of melanin, and accelerate the decomposition and excretion of melanin by directly binding with tyrosinase itself, thus reducing skin pigmentation and removing freckles and freckles It is often used as the main raw material in whitening cosmetics at home and abroad, and arbutin has been applied to cosmetics in many countries in the world.
